[GLLaM] Adam Liter - Does Sluicing repair Islands?

Sluicing has been claimed to repair island violations, going back to Ross (1969). We use a 2x2 experimental design to test this claim for subject islands and complex NP islands in a big-ish-n study (cf. Sprouse 2007; Sprouse et al. 2012, 2016). We find evidence of an island effect—albeit a small one—for subject islands but not complex NP islands. We'd appreciate your help in figuring out what to make of these results.
