Thursday February 12, the Language Science Lunch Talk has Debbie Chen Pichler from Gallaudet, on supporting hearing parents as they navigate early language access for their deaf children. Lunch will be served at 12:15 PM.

Unless they are deaf themselves, most parents don't expect to have a deaf child, yet they face heavy pressure to make critical decisions about their child's communication choices as quickly as possible. How can we improve parents' access to balanced and accurate information about hearing technology AND sign language, to ensure early language access for all deaf children.
