When you fail to notice blatant lexical substitutions in sentences, what do you actually do with the substituted word? Which stored representations does it activate? Where does the process break down? Hanna Muller has been designing some new experiments that aim to get at these questions. She’s hoping to run through her ideas with the group, Friday October 15 at the Psycholinguistics Workshop.
