Friday April 21, Utku Turk helms the Psycholinguistics Workshop, on the neurolinguistics of processing NPs. Some studies (Pallier et al., 2011; Lau & Liao, 2017) have found increased neural activity in coordinated NPs, but new research (Yang & Lau, 2023) says that's not always the case, especially with definite noun phrases. Why? Utku will lead discussion.
