Aaron Steven White is soon to be Assistant Professor of Linguistics and Data Science at the University of Rochester, with secondary appointments in the Computer Science and the Brain and Cognitive Sciences.

. Aaron arrived at Maryland in 2009 as a
Baggett Fellow
, with advisors
Valentine Hacquard
and
Jeffrey Lidz
. He then graduated UMD in 2015, with a dissertation on
Information and Incrementality in Syntactic Bootstrapping
, still with Valentine and Jeff. Since then he has been a postdoctoral fellow at Johns Hopkins University’s
Science of Learning Institute
, working mainly with
Kyle Rawlins
and
Ben Van Durme
.
