Now out, a special issue of Phonology on "Computational phonology today," edited by Bill Idsardi and Stony Brook's Jeff Heinz. The issue begins with a introduction from Bill and Jeff, in which they highlight three aspects of current work in computationalphonology, each illustrated in the nine papers of this collection: data science and model comparison, modeling phonological phenomena using computational simulations, and characterizing the computational nature of phonological patterning with theorems and proofs.
