This week along the Oder in Wrocław, two meetings led by Colin Phillipsat the Center for Experimental Research on Natural Language. The two discussions – "Comprehension, production and prediction" and "The Nature of Linguistic Constraints: Explanation and Reductionism" – are part of a broader workshop on psycholinguistics, with other scholars from Poland and Germany. Wrocław is the capital of the Lower Silesian Voivodeship, and its University has been home to many important scholars, including Erwin Schrödinger.
