Dan Parker to Ohio, Dustin Chacón to Georgia

Alumni recently appointed to new positions.

Congratulations to alumni Dan Parker *14 and Dustin Chacón *15, who have each been appointed to new faculty positions: Dan as Associate Professor of Linguistics at The Ohio State University in Columbus, and Dustin as Assistant Professor of Linguistics at the University of Georgia in Athens. Since graduating, Dan has been at William and Mary, while Dustin has since 2019 been Research Scientist at NYU Abu Dhabi after three years at the University of Minnesota. Both wrote dissertations advised by Colin PhillipsThe cognitive basis for encoding and navigating linguistic structure, and Comparative psychosyntax.
