Lukyanenko, Conroy and Lidz now published

BA alum Cynthia Lukyanenko has published her honors thesis work with Stacey Conroy and Jeff Lidz in "Language Learning and Development".

Congratulations to undergrad alumna Cynthia Lukyanenko, whose honors thesis work with Stacey Conroy and Jeff Lidz is now out in Language Learning and Development. The article, "Is she patting Katie? Constraints on pronominal reference in 30-month-olds," investigates young children’s knowledge of syntactic constraints on noun phrasereference, by testing 30-month-olds’ interpretation of two types of transitive sentences. It finds that, in a preferential looking task, children’s adult-like interpretations are consistent with adherence to Principles A and C of Binding Theory.
