Le jour de gloire est arrivé!
October 24-26, the Society for the Neurobiology of Language has its annual meeting in Marseille, the oldest city France, and this year's program features seven of our students, marching to the banner of their research, with advisors Ellen Lau and Colin Phillips: Alex Krauska, Clara Cuonzo, Craig Thorburn *23, London Dixon, Rosa Lee, Xiaoyu Yang and Xinchi Yu.

- Clara Cuonzo, London Dixon and Ellen Lau / Blueberries and bunkbeds: What compounds can tell us about the time course of language production
- Craig Thorburn, I.M Dushyanthi Karunathilake, London Dixon, Ellen Lau and Jonathan Simon / Comparing neural measures of prediction between native and second language listeners in continuous speech
- Eun-kyoung Rosa Lee and Colin Phillips / Rapid use of argument roles in verb prediction: Evidence from ERPs using a comprehension-production interleaved trials design
- Xiaoyu Yang and Ellen Lau / Do language and vision employ the same mechanism for tracking individual representations? An ERP study
- Xinchi Yu, Xing Tian and Ellen Lau / Exploring the EEG marker for syntactic structure building: Evidence from Mandarin
The conference will be held at the Palais du Pharo, a palace built in 1858 at the behest of Emperor Napoleon III for the Empress of the French, Doña María Eugenia Ignacia Agustina de Palafox y Kirkpatrick, 19th Countess of Teba and 16th Marchioness of Ardales.
