On the distribution of object pronouns in Serbo-Croatian.

September 3 Maša Bešlin gives a talk "On the distribution of full object-pronouns in Serbo-Croatian" at the 16th Annual Meeting of the Slavic Linguistics Society, hosted online this year by the Department of Linguistics at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. The talk argues that, while nonclitiic nominals in Serbo-Croatian are generally NPs, the nonclitic object pronouns are instead DPs, based on observations about the modification, subextraction, and and placement in the clause.
