Virtually in Vienna for the "Crossing Boundaries Workshop"

December 11 Maša Bešlin presents "Raising-to-subject as a free syntactic operation" at a workshop hosted from the University at Vienna, titled "Crossing Boundaries: Empirical and theoretical aspects of A-dependencies in complementation." The paper describes the syntax of the modal verb trebati in Serbo-Croatian, which takes a finite complement, but nevertheless allows Raising-to-Subject.
