Masha and Maša teaching at CreteLing

A summer course on verb initial languages.

July 16-29, Maria Polinsky leads a course on Verb-initial languages (with a special emphasis on Mayan and Austronesian) at the CreteLing Summer School, with teaching assistance from Maša Bešlin, and an audience that includes the itinerant Fedya Golosov. The summer school is hosted annually by the University of Crete at its Rethymno campus, 80km west of Knossos (𐀒𐀜𐀰) on the north coast of the island.
