Masha and Matt in Tokyo with Hajime and Tomo

Professor Emerita Masha Polinsky is in Tokyo, at the National Institute for Japanese Languages and Linguistics, where she is one of three invited speakers, along with alumnus Matt Wagers *08 and Edith Aldridge (Academica Sinica). The symposium is on the theme of "Documenting and Revitalizing Endangered Languages: Perspectives from Psycholinguistics and Digital Humanities" and it was organized by one of Matt's Terrapin schoolmates, Hajime Ono *06, now Professor at International Christian University. Joining these three Terrapins is a fourth, seen in the photo above: Tomohiro Fujii *06, Professor at Yokohama National University.
