December 7 in Frankfurt, Germany, Goethe University hosts a conference on "Null Objects from a Crosslinguistic and Developmental Perspective," at which Masha Polinsky has a paper with Irina Burukina "On the status of implicit objects in antipassives," which reports their research on Kaqchikel, and argues that, structurally, the Kaqchikel antipassive has no 'implicit' object.
