Henry Sweet lecture, on the syntax of exceptives.
September 7, Masha Polinsky gives the invited Henry Sweet lecture at the annual meeting of the LAGB, on the topic of "Exceptives, syntactically speaking," a project which has been awarded NSF support. Masha is also giving a presentation on September 6, in what the LAGB calls its "Summer School," presenting a "Bird's eye view of Austronesian languages."
