December 3 Maria Polinsky lets greater Vancouver know that "Though these be exceptions, yet there is method in them," by presenting her NSF-funded work on exceptive constructions cross-linguistically at the Linguistics NOW Colloquium, supported jointly by the University of British Columbia and Simon Fraser University.
