May 4-5, the department hosts Mayfest 2012, "The Role of Computational Models in Linguistic Theory". Mayfest is an annual two-day workshop organized by our graduate students. It brings together 8-12 distinguished researchers, representing diverse perpectives, to discuss some fundamental issue in linguistics.
