Virtually in Novi Sad, on needs and signs.

September 24 Omer Preminger and Maša Bešlin are virtually in Novi Sad, "the Serbian Athens," at the 14th Syntax, Phonology and Language Analysis. Maša has a talk "On personal and impersonal trebati ‘need’ in Serbo-Croatian: Implications for raising," while Omer is giving a keynoting with "Natural language without semiosis," arguing that forms and meanings are regularly associated with syntactically derived objects, against the traditional view.
