Second online K'iche' course

UMD Mayan Winter Language school offers an immersive course on K'iche'.

March 15-26, the the Language Science Center hosts a second two-week intensive language course in K'iche', following on the first course in January 2021, organized by Maria Polinsky and Pedro Mateo Pedro. The language instructors are Sindy Fabiola Can Pixabaj (K’iche’ name: Ixk’at), and Mario Marroquin Pelíz (K’iche’ name: Tz’unuj), who have developed their own textbook. Students include Maša Bešlin and Imane Bou-Saboun, joining others from around the world.
