Huge congratulations to Sigwan Thivierge, who is to be Assistant Professor of both First Peoples Studies and Linguistics at her BA and MA alma mater, Concordia University in Montreal, in her home province of Quebec. Sigwan recently defended her dissertation, "Phasehood and Phi-intervention", under the direction of Maria Polinsky and Omer Preminger.
