Tim Hunter to join faculty at Minnesota!
Congratulations to alumnus
Tim Hunter (PhD 2010) who has accepted an Assistant Professorship at the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities, within its
Institute of Linguistics. Tim will begin at Minnesota in Fall 2013. Until then will be at the Cornell University Department of Linguistics, on a research postdoc with
John Hale. This comes after a fruitful two years at Yale working with
Bob Frank.
Tim's dissertation at Maryland was "Relating Movement and Adjunction in Syntax and Semantics".
