Register and agreement attraction in Turkish.
March 1-2, Utku Turk is in Los Angeles for 10th iteration of the Workshop on Turkic and Languages in Contact with Turkic, which styles itself as "Tu+". He is presenting a paper showing that "Register modulates grammaticality asymmetry in Turkish agreement attraction," as well as a poster co-authored with Aron Hirsch, arguing that "Turkish allows covert scrambling." The conference is being hosted this year at USC, by its Linguistics Department and its East Asian Studies Center.
