September 21, 2022 Linguistics

Yes, but only virtually, talking about how babies acquire clause types and their function.

September 23, Valentine Hacquard visits the Michigan State University Department of Linguistics from Paris (France), virtually, and gives a colloquium talk on "How babies acquire clause types and their function." The talk reports work done over the last several years with Yu'an Yang *22, former postdoc Dan Goodhue and Jeff Lidz, as well as former Baggetts Jad Wehbe and Anissa Zaitsu, plus several undergraduate RAs.
