Welcome Debbie Chen Pichler

Visiting from Gallaudet and teaching with Tonia.

Say hello to Deborah Chen Pichler, who is visiting us this semester and teaching an undergrad class (449) on the linguistics of sign languages, together with Tonia. Debbie got her PhD from UConn in 2001, joined the faculty of Linguistics at Gallaudet University in 2002, and is now Full Professor there, teaching syntax and second language acquisition. You can also talk to Debbie about Taiwanese, which she grew up speaking.
