Two conference talks by Maša Bešlin on the syntax and interpretation of particles, and an invited talk by Masha on Russian NPE
September 4 at the The 15th Annual Meeting of the Slavic Linguistic Society (SLS 15), hosted online by Indiana University, and the September 24 at the 13th Conference on Syntax, Phonology and Language Analysis (SinFonIJA 13), hosted online by the Research Institute for Linguistics at the Hungarian Academy of Sciences in Budapest, Maša Bešlin presents her work on the syntax and interpretation of passive participles:

- Encoding the eventive/resultative/stative distinction on passive participles cross-linguistically
Also at SLS, Maria Polinsky gives an invited talk on Russian Nominal Ellipsis: Gender Exponents and Gender (Mis)matches, and former department visitor Lena Borise joins Marcel den Dikken and Irina Burukina, a frequent collaborator of Polina Pleshak's, to discuss Russian èto, predication, and big DPs.
